We see emergency cases during regular hospital hours. An appointment is not necessary. If the situation permits, please phone ahead so that we will be prepared to handle your special needs.
After providing 24 hour Emergency Service for 32 years The Somerset Animal Hospital has opted to refer our after hour emergencies to the newly opened Emergency Clinic "PET'S ER" located in Salisbury next to K-Mart on Route 50. This clinic is open Mon-Thurs 5:30 PM until 8:30 AM and starting Friday 5:30 PM it is open all weekend long until Monday morning at 8:30AM. This emergency clinic has Veterinarians "of Youth" and all of the latest up to date equipment for handling even the most serious of emergencies.
